PAPER BAG APPLE PIE 
1 9 inch unbaked pie shell
1 c. sugar
5 c. sliced, peeled apples
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. flour

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Arrange apples in pie shell. In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of the sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Sprinkle over apples. Mix remaining sugar, 1/2 cup flour and the butter until mixture forms crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Slide pie into a large paper bag, a brown one. Fold end over twice and secure with paper clips. Put on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour.
