CINNAMON SCENTED CUT-OUTS 
(Christmas decorations from the kitchen):

1 c. applesauce
1 c. (4 oz.) cinnamon

1. Thoroughly mix together.

2. When all the dry cinnamon disappears, knead mixture until a smooth ball appears.

3. Sprinkle a pastry cloth or surface with cinnamon and roll dough to desired thickness.

4. Dip cookie cutter in cinnamon. Cut desired shape and put on waxed paper to dry.

5. With straw or other object make hole as a place for string or ribbon.

6. Let dry several days, turning cut-outs over once or twice.

7. Tie on food gifts or hang as decorations.
