ELM'S OATMEAL COOKIES 
2 sticks butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. oats
1 sm. pkg. butterscotch chips

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine flour and soda. Add flour mixture to butter and sugar mixture. Stir in oats. Stir in butterscotch chips. Bake at 350 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet for 9 to 11 minutes.
