CHOCOLATE CHERRY CAKE 
1 pkg. Fudge cake mix
1 tsp. almond extract
2 beaten eggs
21 oz. can cherry pie filling

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9x13 inch pan. For cake, combine all ingredients into bowl and mix by hand. Bake 45 to 50 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. chocolate pieces
1 c. chopped nuts

In small saucepan combine sugar, milk and butter. Boil, stirring constantly for one minute. Add chocolate pieces and stir until smooth. Add nuts and mix. Spread frosting over the cooled cake while the frosting is still hot. It sets up as it cools.
