GREEN WONDER SALAD 
1 can fancy mixed Chinese vegetables
1 can green beans
1 can French style green beans
1 can sweet peas
1 jar sliced mushrooms (med.)
1 can water chestnuts
3 sm. white, sweet onions, cut in circles
1 1/2 c. celery
1 c. sugar

LIQUID:

1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Wesson oil
3/4 c. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. sweet pickle juice
Pepper to taste

Drain all canned vegetables. Chop water chestnuts and celery; cut onions in circles. Mix sugar, salt, oil, vinegar, pickle juice and pepper; heat until sugar melts. Mix all vegetables in a large bowl with a lid that seals. Pour liquid over vegetables and let set 24 hours.
