1 1/4 lbs. string French fries
1/4 lb. bacon, diced
1 sm. onion, diced
Salt & Pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients so bacon is well distributed throughout. Spread out 1" thick in covered casserole dish and bake in oven at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. If you are camping, wrap portions in heavy aluminum foil and add 1 tablespoon of butter to each package. Seal ends well and turn frequently. (If you're not in a hurry, wash whole potatoes, slice thinly and prepare the same way.)
