CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour (self-rising)
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
6 sq. chocolate coating, chopped to make chips (by hand; do not use food processor, will stick together)

Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract together; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour; mix well. Stir in chips and nuts by hand.

Bake in 350°F oven 9 to 11 minutes.
