2 lbs. ground beef 3/4 c. ketchup 1 tsp. Accent 1 chopped onion 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1/2 c. water 1 pkg. onion soup mix Mix all together, except sauce. Put in loaf pan. Prick meat with fork several times. Pour on tomato sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. | |

I have never made my own meatloaf seasonings, always used a mix which is not sold anymore. Tried this and it was even better than what I used to make from my favorite mix. Omitted the Accent and used seasoning salt instead and ketchup instead of tomato sauce to pour over the top. I loved it and my kids, who are picky, loved it. Making again for dinner tonight!
