FETTUCCINE ALFREDO 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, wide or fettucini noodles
Salt water
6 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. whipping cream
1 c. (3 oz.) grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper

Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain. While noodles cook, melt butter in a saucepan. Lightly brown butter. Add 1/2 cup of the cream and boil rapidly until slightly thickened. Reduce heat to medium add noodles, and mix gently. Then add half the cheese and 1/2 cup of remaining cream. Continue until all of cheese and cream is added, stir gently. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately. Makes 4 to 6 first course servings.
