1 3/4 c. water + 3 tbsp.
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. softened butter
3 eggs
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cocoa
12 oz. chocolate chips
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Mix together water and oatmeal. Stir in butter; mix. Add sugar; mix. Add eggs; mix. Add dry ingredients; mix. Add 1/2 chocolate chips; mix. Pour into 13 x 9 inch pan, sprinkle top with other 1/2 chips and cut. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
