BELGIAN WAFFLES 
1 cup dairy sour cream
1/2 cup milk
3 tbsp. melted and cooled butter or shortening
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 rounded cup all-purpose flour
1 scant tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 egg whites, beaten stiff

In medium bowl, combine first four ingredients. In separate bowl, sift dry ingredients. Add the liquid into the dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Fold in beaten egg whites.

Bake in Belgian waffle maker.
