P.E.O. HAMBURGER CHEESE BAKE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
4 c. uncooked med. noodles
1 c. cream style cottage cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. dairy sour cream
1/3 c. sliced green onions
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese

Brown beef along with chopped onion. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt, garlic salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain.

Combine cottage and cream cheese, sour cream, green onion and green pepper. Spread 1/2 noodles in 11 x 7 inch by 1 1/2 inch baking dish. Top with a little meat sauce. Cover with cheese mixture. Layer on remaining noodles, then remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Yields 8-10 servings.
