ARLEN'S FAVORITE TURKEY BALLS 
1 lb. ground turkey or chicken
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
2 carrots, grated
1/4 c. rolled oats
1/4 c. whole wheat bread crumbs
1 tsp. tamari soy sauce
1/4 c. Italian salad dressing
1 egg (or white only)

Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Shape into small balls. Brown in nonstick pan. If necessary, add a little water. Cover and cook until done. For reluctant vegetable eaters, veggies hide very nicely in this recipe. Just grate them up and either substitute for or add to carrots. Serve plain or with spaghetti sauce, ketchup or anything else kids like.
