CAROB PECAN SQUARES 
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. honey
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. broken pecans
1.2 c. carob chips

Combine egg, oil, honey and vanilla. Add flour and mix well. Stir in the pecans and carob chips. Pour mixture into an oiled 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until light brown and pulls away from sides of pan. Cut into squares. Cool in pan.
