1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. ketchup
1/2 c. milk

Mix all ingredients except meat. Then add meat. Shape into a loaf. Bake plain or with the following barbecue sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Yield: 6 servings.

BARBECUE SAUCE:

4 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. chopped onion
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. ketchup

Combine ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer a few minutes. Pour over meat loaf and bake.
