CHOCOLATE SYRUP CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour (plain)
1 lb. can chocolate syrup
4 eggs
1 stick butter
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix together with electric mixer and bake. After baking and while still hot leave cake in the 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan and ice with the following topping:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. canned milk

Place ingredients in saucepan. Boil for 2 1/2 minutes and pour over cake and spread to cover. This is a very moist cake and stays moist for days.
