1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1 c. buttermilk

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs; beat well. Add buttermilk, flour, salt, soda, vanilla and butter flavoring. Pour into greased floured 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Bake 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees. Frost with Butter Cream Frosting.
