PUMPKIN PRALINE CAKE | |
1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1 c. cooked pumpkin 1/2 c. oil 3/4 c. light brown sugar 1/4 c. water 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. allspice 4 eggs FILLING FOR CAKE: 1/2 c. nuts, chopped 1/3 c. dark brown sugar 1/3 c. butter Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a bundt pan well. Combine cake mix, pumpkin, oil, light brown sugar, water and spices with electric mixer at medium speed for 1 minute. Add eggs, 1 at a time and beat full minute after each egg. Pour 1/2 of batter into pan. Top with praline mixture being careful not to let it touch sides of the pan. Top with remaining batter. Bake 50 to 60 minutes. May be frozen. Thaw at least 1 hour before serving. |
