SOUTHERN PEANUT SOUP 
1/2 c. celery, grated
1/2 c. onion, grated
1/2 c. carrots, grated
2 oz. butter
4 1/3 c. hot milk
3/4 c. smooth peanut butter
4 tbsp. light sherry
1/2 c. chicken stock
Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. sugar

Saute celery, onion, carrots in butter. Add hot milk. Strain. Add peanut butter. Stir thoroughly. Add dash of Worcestershire sauce, sugar, chicken stock and sherry. Serves 8.
