COOKIE SHEET CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
2 c. sugar + 1/2 tsp.
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour

Place butter, shortening, cocoa and water together in a saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil; then add flour and sugar. Beat eggs; add buttermilk, soda and vanilla in a small bowl. Add egg mixture to mixture in saucepan. Mix well. Pour in a greased and floured cookie sheet pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Have icing ready when cake comes out of the oven.

ICING:

1/4 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. sweet milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 box powdered sugar

Place butter, milk, cocoa and vanilla in a saucepan and barely bring to a boil. Add powdered sugar and nuts. Beat. Pour on hot cake.
