EGG CUSTARD PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/4 stick soft butter
3 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9") unbaked pie crust

1. Cream butter and sugar; add beaten eggs, milk, salt and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie crust.

2. Put in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Turn oven to 300 degrees and continue baking until a golden crust forms, about 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
