HOT WATER CORN BREAD 
1 c. flour
1 c. meal
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 eggs
Boiling water

Add 1 1/2 cups boiling water or enough to make stiff dough, add eggs; stir well. Drop in hot grease until brown. VARIATION: Chopped onions can be added to dough.
