SAUSAGE STUFFED FRENCH LOAF 
1 lb. hot bulk sausage
1/2 c. chopped green onions
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
8 oz. shredded cheese
1 French loaf
1/2 stick butter

Slice French loaf lengthwise. Remove crumbs from each side (about 1 1/2 cups). Cook sausage, onions and celery until done; drain.

Mix sausage mixture with bread crumbs, eggs and milk. Put sausage mixture on bottom of bread loaf. Cover with top of loaf. Wrap tightly with aluminum foil and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Remove from oven. Cover sausage with shredded cheese. Replace top and rub top and sides with butter. Return to oven, uncovered, for about 5 minutes. Slice and serve.
