SAUSAGE BREAD | |
1 loaf frozen bread dough 1 lb. bulk sausage 8 ounces Mozzarella cheese Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese 1 tbsp. butter 1 sm. onion Garlic powder to taste Thaw frozen bread dough in a bowl. Let dough double in bulk. Saute onion in the butter and add sausage. Fry until done. Strain sausage. Roll dough to size of 1/2 sheet pan. Spread sausage mixture over dough. Add shredded Mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with garlic powder. Roll like a jelly roll and place on cookie sheet sprayed with Pam. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. (You can cut this into two pieces, but seal the cut edge before baking.) Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Note: This can be frozen and defrosted in microwave. Makes a Great Breakfast! |
