APPLE-CARROT CASSEROLE | |
2 tbsp. flour 5 tbsp. sugar 5 apples, peeled & sliced 2 c. sliced cooked carrots 1/4 c. butter, divided 3/4 c. orange juice Combine flour and sugar; blend well. Layer half of apple slices in a 2 quart shallow baking pan. Cover with half of carrots. Sprinkle with small amount of flour mixture and dot with 2 tablespoons butter. Repeat layers. Pour orange juice over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until tender. Serves 8. |
