COUNTRY SAUSAGE AND RICE | |
1 lb. bulk sausage 1/2 cup long grain rice 3/4 cup chopped celery 3 thinly sliced carrots 1 tbsp. onion 1 can chicken broth In large skillet brown sausage and drain well. Stir in rice, celery, carrots, onion and broth; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally until liquid is absorbed and rice is done. |
