POTATO REFRIGERATOR ROLLS | |
1 pkg. dry yeast 1 1/2 c. warm water 2/3 c. sugar Mix above ingredients together. 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. shortening 2 eggs 1 c. lukewarm mashed potatoes 6 c. flour Mix all liquid ingredients with mixer, then start adding flour, a little at a time. When the mixer starts having difficulty, start mixing by hand. When all mixed, place dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let set until double in size. Take any amount out of bowl and knead, then cut out for a meal. (Leave in bowl up to 5 days in refrigerator.) Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 25 minutes. |
