NO PEEK CHICKEN AND RICE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1 chicken, cut in serving pieces
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can water
1 c. sherry
1 pkg. onion soup mix

Butter a 16 x 11 inch baking pan. Sprinkle rice over bottom of pan. Lay chicken, skin side up, on rice. Pour condensed soup, sherry, and water over chicken. Sprinkle onion soup over all. Cover tightly with aluminum foil, making sure edges are sealed around pan. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. But "don't peek", rice will burn.
