SHIFT NOODLES | |
6 pork chops 4 potatoes, thinly sliced 1 onion, chopped Water Fry pork chops until brown in large pan, remove from pan. Brown onion, add potatoes and enough water to cover. Place meat on top. Cover and simmer. While simmering, make noodles. NOODLES: 3 c. flour 2 tsp. salt Water 4 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add eggs and enough water to make a heavy dough. Flour counter top and hands, cut dough in small pieces and roll on counter until they are about the size of a finger. Place noodles on top of meat and cook for 45 minutes on medium-low heat. Keep covered until done. Do not lift cover. When done, remove meat, stir noodles with other ingredients, add water if not moist enough. |
