BEST PINTO BEANS EVER | |
1 lb. Camellia pinto beans 12 c. water 1 onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 3 strips crisp fried bacon 4 drops Tabasco sauce salt and pepper to taste Rinse beans. Cover with water and boil for 15 minutes. Then start over with fresh water and let come to a boil. Sauté onions and garlic until wilted and add to beans. Cook for 1 hour and 45 minutes on medium heat. Add salt and pepper. Add Tabasco sauce and bacon and cook 15 minutes or until done. |
