DILL PICKLES 
1 qt. vinegar
3 qt. water
1 c. salt
1 pack cucumbers

Bring vinegar, water, and salt to a boil. Pack cucumbers in jars. Put 3-4 pieces of garlic or onions in each jar. Use dill to taste. Pour hot liquid mixture over cucumbers in the jars and seal. Place jars in canner or hot water and bring to simmer, DO NOT BOIL. Let stand in hot water for 15 minutes.
