AUNT LUCILLE'S MISSISSIPPI MUD
CAKE
 
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. pecans, chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Grease and flour 13 x 9 inch oblong cake pan. Beat eggs and sugar. Add the flour, then the butter (melted) with the cocoa and the nuts and vanilla. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. While the cake is still hot, cover the top with miniature marshmallows. Put in the oven and lightly brown the marshmallows. Let cool and ice with the following icing, covering the marshmallows: 1 stick butter 3 tbsp. cocoa 1/3 c. evaporated milk 1 tsp. vanilla
