FRUIT PIE 
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 can pie filling (strawberry or cherry)
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
1 large pkg. Jell-O (same flavor as pie filling)
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch (4 tbsp. flour)
2 bananas, sliced

Mix pie filling, pineapple, sugar and cornstarch. Cook slowly until mixture thickens.* Add Jell-O. Mix well and let cool. When mixture has set, add bananas and pour into baked pie shells. Put Cool Whip on top. Keep refrigerated.

*Mix in glass cooking ware and cook in microwave oven for 5 minutes on High. Stir. Cook another 5 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
