1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cold water
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. shortening
1 tbsp. vinegar
Vanilla

Mix dry ingredients in baking dish. Make 3 holes in this mixture. Into one hole, put melted shortening; into another, vanilla and into the third, vinegar. Mix. Add water and mix. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.

ICING:

3 c. powdered sugar
A little milk
4 tbsp. cocoa
4 tbsp. melted butter
1 egg

Mix together and spread on cake.
