ROUND STEAK SAUERBRATEN 
1-1/2 lbs. round steak, cut 1/2 inch thick
1 env. brown gravy mix
2 c. water
1 tsp. instant minced onion
2 tsp. vinegar
2 tsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 bay leaf
Hot buttered egg noodles

Cut steak into 1 inch squares. Brown steak on all sides in hot fat in large skillet. Remove steak from skillet. Add gravy mix, and water to skillet. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in remaining ingredients except noodles. Return steak to skillet, cover. Simmer for 1 hour and 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf. Serve steak over hot buttered noodles. Yield: 5 to 6 servings.
