QUICHE LORRAINE 
4 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
1/3 c. of minced onions
2 c. light cream
1/4 tsp. sugar
1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie shell
12 slices crisp fried bacon
4 slightly beaten eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste

Set oven at 425 degrees. Put crumbled up bacon, cheese and onions in unbaked pie pan. Mix in remaining ingredients. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then lower oven to 300 degrees and cook for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in middle comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes.

You can add 1/2 a box of frozen spinach or chopped broccoli to above ingredients. Just run under water to thaw and squeeze out water and decrease light cream to 1 1/2 cups.
