BREAD FRITTERS 
3 3/4 oz. butter
4 eggs
6 fluid oz. milk
Dash of salt
1 sm. loaf white bread
Lg. frying pan

Bread thinly sliced or cube. In frying pan, melt butter. Fry the bread until golden. Mix milk and salt with the eggs, as for scrambled eggs. Pour mixture over the bread and keep turning slices in pan until all liquid has been absorbed. Serve with salad.
