MILE HIGH FREEZER BISCUITS 
3 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 beaten egg
1 1/8 c. milk

Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg and milk all at once. Mix until dough forms a ball.

Turn dough out onto lightly floured board and knead 10-12 times. Roll out to 3/4-inch thickness; cut with floured biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Freeze overnight. Place in zip lock bag until ready to use.

Bake frozen biscuits in 475 degree oven 12-15 minutes.
