3 eggs
3 med. size, very ripe bananas, mashed
2/3 c. miniature marshmallows, divided

Beat the cake mix, buttermilk in which the baking soda has been dissolved, the 3 mashed bananas, butter and eggs together for 2 minutes at medium speed.

Spoon another 1/3 of the batter over this layer, then repeat the process (sliced banana, marshmallows, nuts, syrup). Spoon the remaining 1/3 of the batter over all.

Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let set until cool. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar, if desired. Serves 12.
