APPLE DUMPLINGS | |
1 pkg. ready to bake crescent rolls (8) 4 tsp. sugar 3 tsp. cinnamon, divided 2 sm. tart apples, peeled & sliced 1/2 c. water 2 tsp. butter Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Separate crescent rolls into 8 pieces. Flatten and stretch each piece. Mix sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Roll apple slices in this mixture, divide evenly among the rolls. Fold dough over apples and pinch to close openings. Place in baking dish. Mix water, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and any leftover sugar-cinnamon mixture. Pour over dumplings. Dot each dumpling with butter. Bake, uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes until rolls are browned. |
