SMALL LADY LOCKS 
3 c. flour
1 lb. Crisco
2 tbsp. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 1/4 c. water

Mix flour and 1 1/2 cups Crisco like pie dough. Add water and eggs, a little at a time. Place in refrigerator. After 1 hour remove and roll like pie. Spread with Crisco. Flap over and spread the other side. Wrap in wax paper. Place in refrigerator. Every hour spread Crisco on both sides of dough until Crisco is gone.

Leave overnight. In the morning roll out dough and cut into strips. Roll strips around clothes pins and place on cookie sheet and bake at 425 degrees for 5 minutes and finish baking for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.

CREAM FILLING:

1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter

Cream together. Add 1 cup sugar a little at a time. Beat until fluffy. Cook 4 tablespoons flour with 1 cup milk and let cool. Add to sugar mixture and beat until creamy. Add 2 teaspoons vanilla.

Fill cookies with a decorator bag and tube.
