FRIED RICE (JAPAN) 
4 strips bacon
1/4 c. grated carrot
1 med. onion, chopped
3/4 c. ham, chunked
2 eggs
3 c. cooked rice
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
Garlic to taste
Salt to taste

Cook the grated carrot and onion in the bacon drippings after the bacon has been fried and removed from pan. Remove carrots and onion, then fry the ham. Remove. Scramble the eggs in the same pan. Remove. Place the cooked rice in pan. Add the soy sauce, green pepper, garlic, and salt. Return the rest of the ingredients to the pan and heat on low until all is heated through. Additional soy sauce may be added if desired.
