HAMBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can cut green beans
1 can condensed tomato soup
3 med. potatoes
1 egg (beaten)
Milk
1/2 c. shredded cheese
1/4 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Brown meat and onion (drain off fat). Stir in beans, soup, water, salt and pepper. Turn mixture into 1 1/2 quart casserole.

Cook potatoes until tender - drain. Mash while hot. Stir in egg, add enough milk to make potatoes fluffy. Season with salt and pepper. Drop potatoes in mounds on top of meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. 4-6 servings.
