FESTIVE COOKIE DOUGH 
1 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3 1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract (optional)

Beat butter and cream cheese about 30 seconds or until softened. Add 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, egg, baking powder, vanilla, and if desired, almond extract. Beat for 1-2 minutes or until well mixed. Add remaining flour. Beat until combined. (May need to add flour by hand.) Chill. Roll dough and cut out. Bake at 375 degrees for 6-8 minutes.

Frost and decorate as desired.
