2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 sm. pkg. Jello (any flavor)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream shortening and sugar. Add dry Jello, eggs and vanilla. Blend dry mixture into creamed mixture. Shape into balls and place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Press flat with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes. Do not brown.
