3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jello
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Mix shortening, sugar, Jello, eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients. Make 3/4 inch balls of dough place 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten each with glass dipped in sugar. Bake 6-8 minutes. Oven 400 degrees. Makes 4 dozen. Cookie will be the color and flavor of the Jello you use.
