LEMON ICE BOX PIE | |
1 crumb or baked 8" pie shell 1/2 c. lemon juice (use real lemons) 1 tsp. grated lemon rind or 1/4 tsp. lemon extract 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk 2 eggs, separated Combine lemon juice and grated lemon rind or lemon extract; gradually stir into sweetened condensed milk. Add egg yolks and stir until well blended. Pour into chilled crumb crust or cooled pastry shell. Place in refrigerator; allow 2 to 3 hours to chill completely. |
