CARAMEL FROSTING 
2 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. cream
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter (I use a iron skillet). Add cream and scald. Add brown sugar and mix well. Cook to a soft ball stage and set aside to cool. Add vanilla and beat until creamy.
