CAESAR SALAD ANNEMARIE WITH
CROUTONS
 
1 head Romaine lettuce, washed, dried & torn into bite-size pieces

DRESSING:

3/4 c. vegetable oil
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. fresh grated Parmesan
1 tbsp. wine vinegar
1/2 c. croutons

Mix all ingredients accept croutons in blender and toss with lettuce. Top with packaged or homemade croutons.

Homemade Croutons: Butter both sides of a few slices of your favorite bread. Sprinkle with crushed parsley flakes and garlic powder. Spread on a cookie sheet and bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until dry and crisp. Then break into bite-size pieces. If you want them fancier cut them into cubes before baking.
