2 c. sugar 2/3 c. evaporated milk 12 reg. marshmallows 1/2 c. butter Few grains salt 6 oz. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped nuts 1 tsp. vanilla Mix in a heavy 2 quart saucepan the sugar, milk, marshmallows, butter and salt. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil (mixture will be bubbling all over the top). Boil and stir 5 minutes more. Take off heat. Stir in until completely melted chocolate pieces. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread in a buttered 8 inch square pan. Let cool. Cut into 30 pieces. 1992 D.G.M. Dist. 22 Covert #547 |
